The Icelandic rock sensation KALEO has earned a coveted Grammy nomination for their single “No Good” amassing an impressive 4 billion listens globally and gracing the stages of countless concerts at major international festivals. With three studio albums and an EP album in their repertoire, KALEO has truly made their mark on the world stage, with their 2016 album A/B and its standout single, “Way Down to Go” capturing the hearts of audiences worldwide. In 2021, KALEO unveiled their latest album “Surface Sounds” a creation led by the band’s visionary vocalist and songwriter, JJ Julius Son. Drawing inspiration from an array of “surface sounds”, from the enchanting melodies of chirping birds to the majestic echoes of Icelandic waterfalls, Julius Son seamlessly integrated these elements into the fabric of their songs, complemented by his poignant and emotionally charged lyrics. The album’s  distinctive sound has garnered widespread acclaim from critics.

Since 2015, KALEO has shared the stage with luminaries such as Vance Joy, The Lumineers, and The Rolling Stones. Since 2017, they have been orchestrating their own tours, leaving an indelible mark on the biggest festivals across the globe. In 2023, the group embarked on a triumphant tour through Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.
